what were you doing 2 years ago?

i was doing this, and funnily enough, today i was doing the same fucking thing

I’ve fancied it up a bit though.

seeing the original post, i realised i’ve let this blog’s 2 year anniversary pass by without noticing. thanks for reading pig lovers! cheers!

another banal pig 4 preview

here’s another preview from banal pig 4, the beginning of the jolly bear old testament story, and is the link page from the untitled cat strip featuring good old untitled ghost. it’s the same ink wash style i used for the jolly bear summer special 2, although i’m drawing over it in pen too to give it a tighter finish, and each of the images will be a full page. i’m doing a bit of digital grayscale on one or two of the strips too to give things a different look. nice.

what i did on my holidays

so we’re back from salzburg, austria and it was pretty amazing. one of my favourite places we went was the museum of folklore, which was basically the museum of crazy wicker man style crap, including this massive hat with loads of birds on it.

There was also loads of great paintings like this one, and a lot of carved stuff and really beatifully painted wardrobes and religious icons:

we also went up in a cable car, which went from the floor to the top of the untersberg mountain, which was over a mile high (i was shitting it a bit, and i still dont know how it works), saw a alpine horn band rehearsal and i found my new favourite drink:

it had a weird salty flavour, but was very moreish.
